This page explains what happens to the notes, club profiles and player spotlights sent to Sporting Logically, and what you can ask us to change. Last updated: 12 March 2025.
When you send match notes, a correction or a club profile request, we receive the name and email you type in the form, the message itself, and any fixture details you include. Our hosting and analytics tools also record basic technical data: browser type, device, approximate region and the pages you opened.
We use a small number of cookies to keep the site working and to see which league logs and club profiles get read. Analytics events are aggregated, not tied to a named supporter. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still load.
Notes about school fixtures are only published with consent from a coach, a club official or a parent. Personal contact details inside a submitted note are stripped before a profile goes live. A coach's tactical note and a parent's sideline observation are labelled differently, so readers know which is which.
If a form line, venue detail or squad note is wrong, send the fixture date, the league and the original wording. We log the request, check it against our records and update the season log. League organisers can ask for a squad note to be revised after a transfer window closes.
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, request a correction, ask for deletion, or receive a copy in a portable format. You can also withdraw consent for a published note at any time. Where GDPR or CCPA apply to your region, those rights are honoured in full.
Submitted notes and form entries are stored with our hosting, email and form providers, who process data on our behalf. We do not sell reader data. Records are kept only as long as needed to run the notebook and answer correction requests.

Our coverage stays descriptive. We do not publish misleading claims, fake endorsements, invented urgency or guarantees of a result, and any club or league we mention is named as it appears on the fixture list.
