A few definitions we use across club profiles, match logs and venue records. They exist so a correction request, a note about a ground change or a question about profile ownership lands in the right place and gets handled the same way every time.
A match log is the short written record attached to a fixture: scoreline, scorers where known, venue, kick-off time and a plain description of how the game moved. It is not a prediction and not a rating of individual players. If a log reads like a forecast, that is a mistake on our side and worth flagging.
A five-match strip shows results in order, nothing more. It does not account for missing players, travel, pitch conditions or the strength of the opposition. When we publish a form line, we treat it as one piece of a larger picture, and we ask contributors to do the same.
Venue entries list the ground name, street address and any access notes we have been given, such as parking or gate times. If a club moves grounds mid-season, the old address stays visible in past logs for reference, while the current profile shows the updated one.
Two profiles for the same club usually happen when a team registers under a slightly different name across seasons. We merge them rather than delete, keeping the older match logs intact and pointing the combined profile at the current squad name.
A club profile can be claimed by a coach, manager or designated parent contact. Ownership covers editing squad names, venue details and season logs. It does not give control over match logs written by other contributors, and it does not remove the right of readers to report an error.
We do not guarantee a response time, a specific outcome on a correction, or any statement about how a team will perform. Support replies stay factual: what we changed, what we could not change, and where the record now stands.
If something on a profile or a match log still reads wrong after these notes, send the fixture, the club name and the specific line you want checked. That is enough for us to find it.
Support runs on the same idea as the rest of the notebook: small corrections, made early, keep a league readable for everyone. If a result line is wrong, a venue has moved, or a squad name is spelled three different ways across fixtures, tell us and we will sort it out.
Contributors writing season logs or player spotlights can ask about formatting before they send anything in. Readers who spot an outdated form line or a dead link on a provincial tournament page can flag it the same way. Account access, email notifications and profile ownership questions land in the same inbox.
Describe what needs fixing and where you saw it. A fixture date, a club name or a page link is usually enough for us to find it.

Most notes that land in our inbox are small fixes: a misspelled surname, a venue that moved grounds, a form line that no longer matches the last result. Here is how those usually play out.
Yes. Send the fixture date, the club names and the line you want changed. If you were at the ground, say so in the message. We check the note against the original log before editing, so corrections usually take a day or two during a busy weekend of provincial fixtures.
Send the old address, the new one, and the first fixture played there. If parking, changing rooms or kick-off times changed with the move, mention that too. We update the venue entry and any fixture pages that still point to the previous ground.
Duplicate profiles are common when a club changes its name or splits age groups. Tell us which profile is the active one and which should be merged. We move the match logs, squad notes and season entries across, then retire the older page so links from league tables keep working.
Plain text is fine. List fixtures in date order, note the competition, and add a short line on anything unusual: a red card, a keeper change, a pitch that cut up badly. If you want a player spotlight included, keep it to a few concrete moments rather than general praise.
Check the address you signed up with first, then write to us with the club name attached to the profile. We can resend access details or switch notifications back on. Profile ownership questions go through the same channel, so mention if you are handing the account to a new coach or manager.
